I notice that this forum is frequented by people from different country in the world (USA, Italy, Spain, France etc) so I was wondering about the creation of a section in the forum where people can ask for translation into other language.

I mean, I'm Italian and I like to translate American and English songs into my language but sometimes artist use slangs in the lyrics and this make difficult for me to understand the meaning of the text... maybe this happen to other people and they don't know how to face this "problem".

So wouldn't be nice to create an apposite section for translation maybe in the off topic section or in an apart section?!?

I think the same as you but, don't worry about that cause if you ask somebody to translate something you don't understand they'll do it without a problem. I feel the same, not with songs, but yes with some interviews..

Hi Fairy, we do have members who speak several languages. The only suggestion I have is to try this translation system. Babelfish

I hope this helps. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Fairy, I apologize for the very late reply.

You're more than welcome to start a Translation topic in the Off Topic forum. I'm unsure whether there's enough interest in this to warrant a seperate forum for translations of song texts, but I'll gladly keep an eye on the Translation topic. If it turns out there is indeed enough interest, we can talk about a seperate forum then. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
